When most brides think of Mexican wedding décor, the words “bright,” “colorful” and “folksy” immediately come to mind. But after seeing the unique showcase we created for bride Carrie’s August wedding at Esperanza Resort, we’re certain you’ll add “chic” and “tasteful” to your Mexican décor terms.
For Carrie’s stylish Mexican décor, we kept the aqua table runner a neutral shade and instead allowed the Mexican flavor and liveliness to shine through via bright flowers and colorful cross favors on each napkin. In order to add another subtle hint of the traditional Mexican style, we designed and produced neutral custom menus with a papel picado (punched paper) look. Succulent plants and hand painted stones used as seating cards completed this classy yet colorful décor design.
We always mention how important it is to find vendors who know how to cooperate with your other vendors to ensure a cohesive look and flow on your wedding day. Carrie’s wedding was the definition of a team effort between Linens, Things and More, Gaby Cobians at Vivid Occasions, and Rene Larios at Cabo Floral Studio. Each of us had to communicate well with the others to pull off this one-of-a-kind wedding and reception décor.
We have to extend a sincere thank you to Gaby and Rene for helping us accomplish a truly unique design unlike any other Mexican décor you will see.
