As an event design company, we work with brides at all stages of planning their décor. Some brides come to us with a vague idea of what they would like, but need help creating a cohesive design. Other brides have a detailed vision that just needs some fine-tuning, and we lead them through the process of bringing their dream to life.
Bride Kayla got married at the beautiful Barceló Resort this past September. Though she knew a lot of the features she wanted for her unique, elegant wedding décor, we worked with Kayla for more than 9 months to make sure each detail was absolutely perfect.
Kayla fell in love with a past imperial table setup we did at Barceló. We adapted this look to her taste, and the result was a romantic imperial table with champagne linen and a textured custom runner that perfectly matched her bridesmaids’ dress color in eggplant purple.
Once we perfected the imperial table, we created a cake table for Kayla in the same deep shade of eggplant and highly textured linen. To further customize the reception décor, we designed special chair covers just for the bride and groom in the same unique fabric.
The addition of gorgeous flowers and accessories, which we designed with Rene Larios from Cabo Floral Studios, completed this stunning décor. With such a bold color and rich texture on the table runner, we needed to create balance with brighter floral arrangements and softer details. To achieve this look, we incorporated light-colored driftwood pieces and flowers in lavender and blush shades along with lots of greenery.
A few mercury gold candles in different sizes kept the décor romantic and elegant—which is exactly what Kayla had in mind from the beginning. From the gold chargers and special menus to the soft flowers and fresh greenery, we think Kayla’s romantic eggplant and champagne décor was simply perfect.
